The pick

I keep a stack of this on hand because I make cards, and little craft projects that do not need anything fancy, just paper that behaves the way it should. If you are the kind of person who does handmade birthday cards, classroom projects, party signs, or a lot of cut-and-fold work, this is the sort of cardstock that saves time because you are not fighting with flimsy sheets.

What I like most is the range of colors and the fact that the sheets feel sturdy enough for real use. They do not curl up on me the way lighter paper does, and they hold a crease well when I score them for folded cards. For die cuts, hand-cut shapes, and layered paper crafts, the weight feels right. It is thick enough to look finished, but not so thick that every little project turns into a workout.

I also like having a mixed pack instead of buying one color at a time. When I am making a batch of cards or putting together a set of school or party decorations, it is easier to pull from one box and keep moving. The assortment gives you a lot of room to match a season, a theme, or just whatever mood you are in. Some colors get used faster than others, of course, but that is true with any mixed pack.

One small downside is that a few colors in a large assortment always end up being the ones you reach for less. That is not really a problem with the paper itself, just the reality of buying variety. If you need a very specific shade in a large quantity, you may still want a separate pack for that. For general craft use, though, the mix is part of the appeal.

I use this kind of paper for quick card bases, layered shapes, and signs that need to stand up a little better than plain copy paper would. It cuts cleanly with a paper trimmer and punches well with standard craft punches. I have also used it for simple folded boxes and table markers when I wanted something that looked neat without spending all afternoon on it. That is where this cardstock earns its place for me: it makes small projects feel more finished without asking much back.

The sheet size is useful too. At 8.5 x 11, it works with the tools most people already have, which matters more than people think. I do not want to trim every sheet before I can start. I want to sit down, pick a color, and get on with the project. This pack fits that routine. It also will fit in copier.

If you make cards, do classroom crafts, or just like having colorful paper ready when an idea shows up, this is an easy supply to keep around. It is not trying to be special. It just gives you a lot of usable paper in colors you will actually reach for, and that is usually enough for the kind of work I do.
